About

Sibylla Arnbjörg is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher developing AI-based image systems across emerging media. With an academic background in Visual Arts, including a bachelor’s and a master’s degree focused on creative processes, her practice investigates the shifting relationship between human perception, machine vision, and synthetic image production, examining how new technologies reconfigure the artistic process itself.

Her work unfolds through photography, video, digital environments, and AI-driven processes, constructing hybrid visual ecologies where organic, symbolic, and computational forms converge. Engaging with concepts such as post-human narratives and bio-digital systems, she develops immersive visual structures that oscillate between stillness and motion.

Influenced by cinema, performance, mythology, and philosophy, Sibylla builds speculative universes where identity, time, and matter are continuously reconfigured. Her process is rooted in experimentation and system-based thinking, addressing how technological mediation reshapes imagination, authorship, and the experience of reality.
